It’s been a little over a week since the most important United Nations climate change conference in history opened. Organizers of the conference warned the diplomats from one hundred ninety-two nations that this might very well be their last chance to reach an agreement that protects the world from calamity resulting from global warming. The goal of the conference was to find a way to raise and channel funding to poor countries so that they could fight future effects of climate change. Organizers of the conference have declared that the evidence is now overwhelming that the world needs to take action to combat global warming. Without an agreement the Earth will face serious consequences of plant and animal extinction, flooding of coastal cities, more extreme weather, drought and the spread of diseases. As the conference continues on until its climax on December 18, green activists at home continue to take action to protect the earth in the capacities they can. Works of Life has adopted green initiatives work to protect the environment as well as help the communities they serve. Works of Life with green initiatives accept car donation in addition to the monetary donations they receive. When you donate a car to a green charity, your auto donation helps two worthy causes at once. Green charities are working hard to keep vehicle donations out of landfills.

Meth awareness
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/34227273/ns/us_news-the_elkhart_project/
MIAMI CORRECTIONAL FACILITY, Ind.— The life of David Goble, already a weathered man at the age of 27, chronicles the cost of methamphetamines in this area — both human and financial.
The Goshen, Ind., native used drugs as a teen, but it was the powerful high of meth, which he started using heavily with coworkers at a local trailer factory, that drove him off the rails.
High, and ever in the pursuit of the next high, Goble would stay awake for days on end, committing burglary to fund his habit, and for thrills. For most of the past decade, he has cycled in and out of jail and prison. When he was booked for the last time into Elkhart County Jail, he was strung out and emaciated.
Works of Life; Boat donation
As Works of Life is dedicated to the help of the poor, your car donations will be helping the human kind. It’s not necessary that just by donating your car you can benefit the poorest of the poor, you can also help them by spreading words about Works of Life. Talk to your friends so that they too come to know about this. Who knows one of your rich friends decides for boat donations. they involved with charity work. So they make funds by selling the properties received from the donors. I mean to say an interested person can buy used cars here or can even buy used boats.

When you pass through a car donation organizations of intermediaries, who are taking a considerable amount for profit and could reach 50% to 90%. You can take most of the information, love is not inserted into the cradle, but this must be verified. Then, some aid agencies are giving the car to a needy person, who would be without means of transport if not have a car and have to get a job, etc.
So if you decide toif you go through an intermediary or drive through the love of charity, it becomes easier to ask questions. If you decide to donate directly to a recognized charity, you might want to choose a charity well known, a name you recognize.

DETROIT (Reuters) - Toyota Motor Corp (7203.T) will fix the accelerator pedals in 4 million cars and trucks to address a safety issue linked to bursts of sudden acceleration and deadly accidents, the company and the U.S. government said on Wednesday.
The action, which represents the largest-ever U.S. safety recall by the Japanese automaker, aims to address the risk that floor mats in the vehicles can come loose and trap the accelerator pedal on some of Toyota's most popular models including the Camry and hybrid Prius.
Toyota had initially urged owners to remove floor mats in affected vehicles sold over the last six years.

Donate Boat/car in Florida today!
When I learned that my cousin had a automobile donate to charity, that was the first time that I was made aware that you can actually donate more than cash and kind. He has a yacht and after his wife died from a ship wreck, he had decided to give away the thing that will remind him of his wife. I also learned that there are a lot of people who give their boat to charity. There are many buyers who charity car donation and once you donate your boat, the donation company will look for a buyer for your donated boat and the proceeds will go to Works of Life. Then I realize, if I will donate my car, I will have lesser tax charges and I will be able to give to charity.

French Aid from Charity Helps
PARIS, Nov 23 (Reuters) - Two French aid workers were kidnapped on Sunday evening in the northeast of the Central African Republic, their organisation said on Monday.
The two were seized in the town of Birao, Christian Lombard, co-director at French aid organisation Triangle, told Reuters. No further details were immediately available.
Birao is on the Central African Republic's border with Chad and Sudan. Earlier this month, a Frenchman working for the International Committee of the Red Cross was kidnapped by armed men in Chad, leading the charity to temporarily suspend its activities in the region.
In October, another French citizen working for the ICRC was kidnapped in Sudan's Darfur region. Both aid workers are still being held captive, the ICRC said.
The Central African Republic is one of Africa's poorest and most isolated countries, with a weak government struggling to end several years of internal rebellions.
